- Magnolia MidlandsOutdoors
Located on Madison Street in Downtown Dublin GA, the Market on Madison is a premier open-air venue buzzing with activity. A community-driven experience, vendors and visitors come together to celebrate the richness of local flavors each Saturday morning 7:30 AM until 12:30 PM from April through mid October. Patrons can also find a variety of handmade crafts and original art, and find fun activities for the Little Sprouts throughout the season! Over the last several years, Dublin’s Farmers Market has experienced much growth, noting more than 30 vendors each week and 350 patrons during peak produce season.

The annual Bear on the Square is an authentic Appalachian Heritage Festival featuring bluegrass and old-time music, a juried Artists Market Place featuring traditional mountain crafts, storytelling, free music workshops and demonstrations, local wine and beer, a Sunday Gospel Jam, children’s activities, dancing, and more. All events are free. Festival starts at 9:30 on Saturday morning and 11 a.m. on Sunday.

Greg Hester and his band recreate the aura of Van Morrison on stage with the authenticity of the Irish giant at his best. With selections such as “Brown Eyed Girl,” "Tupelo Honey” and “Domino,” you’ll enjoy the classic stage presence of the Belfast Cowboy featuring rock, R&B and soul with a hint of country.

Visit Douglas-Coffee County GA is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Wings & Things Festival and Fly-in at the Douglas Municipal Airport! Last year was a huge success and we can't wait to do it again--bigger and better!
Open Saturday, April 20th from 9am - 5pm, with warbirds, antique military vehicles, food trucks, vendors, kids area, entertainment, classic car show, hot wing cook-off and much more. Grab the family and fly or drive in to the airport for a day of fun and history. Come join us for some fun on the farm this spring at Washington Farms! Our Super Spring Saturdays feature fun farm activities including wagon rides, petting zoo, jumping pillows, cow train, ziplines, paintball and much more! The activities will be open every Saturday from April 13 until May 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Be sure to try our delicious homemade strawberry ice cream, slushies, hand-squeezed lemonade, and fresh popped kettle corn while you’re here! The 23rd annual Garden Faire will be held on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. In partnership with the City of Alpharetta, Garden Faire 2024 will be held at The Grove at Wills Park in Alpharetta.
There will be something for everyone. Vendors with garden accessories and tools, a wide variety of plants, including natives, heirloom plants and vegetables, herb and cut flower starts and the popular “Pass-Along-Plant-Sale,” featuring thousands of plants from the Master Gardeners’ own gardens. Other attractions include speakers, a Children’s Corner, the Fleatique, the popular Ask-a-Master Gardener Booth, delicious food and much more.
Admission is free. Proceeds from Garden Faire will provide scholarships and benefit community education efforts and project gardens supported by the North Fulton Master Gardeners volunteer organization.
Master Gardeners will be on hand to help shoppers choose the plants that best meet their needs and answer gardening questions.

Due South celebrates the sights, sounds and tastes of the south right in the heart of the creative district in downtown Thomasville at the Ritz Amphitheater. Expect great music, unique art, Southern street eats and brews that will keep you coming back for more!

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center is excited to once again celebrate the vibrant season of spring in grand style with our 2024 Madison Spring Tour of Homes and Gardens. The self-guided tour will feature a selection of Madison’s treasured historic and modern homes. You can experience the living history of our town while strolling through the city’s architecturally significant homes as they come into full bloom!

- Historic HeartlandKids & Family
Come to downtown Madison on Saturday, April 20, for a celebration of local black heritage. The festival starts at 11:30 a.m., and the parade begins at 12:30 p.m. with bands, floats and groups marching through downtown. The festival continues at Town Park with speakers, food, crafters, and entertainment.
This is a Town Park rental event.

- Northeast Georgia MountainsConcert
On Saturday, April 20, the UNG Department of Music Presents the UNG Bands Alumni Weekend Outdoor Band Concert. This special matinee event will include the UNG Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band as they are joined by special guests, the Lumpkin Co. High School Band. The program will consist of audience-friendly music including a variety of styles and genres. The grand finale of the concert, an exciting piece titled “Ride” by Sam Hazo, will include all three combined groups and over 125 musicians!
The Lumpkin Co. High School Band is led by Mr. Cory Jackson, a Dahlonega native and UNG Music Education Alumnus (Class of ’22.) The members of the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic band are UNG undergraduates representing a wide variety of majors. Both ensembles are under the direction of Dr. J. Ashley Jarrell.
Admission is free for this 1 p.m. concert, which will take place in the courtyard of The Cottrell School of Business Building. Audience members are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, food, and/or drink. Limited chair seating will be provided as well.

Join moderator and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Publisher Elizabeth Ralls, as the five discuss the nuance behind these design pros’ craftsmanship.
