Firefly Festival celebrates summer

BY RODERIC GRAHAM

Celebrate the end of summer vacation with family and friends at the Firefly Festival at Town Park in Madison, July 24-25.

The Firefly Friday Frolic focuses on children 12 and under and will be full of arts and crafts, music, facepainting and stilt-walkers. The Sound of Motown band will set the mood for Saturday's Firefl y Twilight concert.

Bring lawn chairs, blankets, food and beverages for the concert. Friday tickets are $5 for kids and free for adults. The twilight concert is $8 for age 13 and up. For more information, visit madisonga.com or call (706) 342-1251, ext. 208.
