Held during October's first full weekend each year, the city of Jasper and the Marble Valley of Pickens County celebrate the history of Georgia Marble, the mountains, and the Arts.
A full weekend of activities begins with the Marble Festival 5K Run/Walk Road Race Saturday morning. The 5K starts at 8 a.m. followed by the 1 mile Run/Walk at 9 a.m.

Then, catch the festival parade in beautiful downtown Jasper on Main Street at 10 a.m. Don't miss the guided marble quarry tour for $20 which includes entrance to the festival. Once in the festival enjoy arts, crafts, demonstrations and our kids zone. There will be various sculptors including granite, marble,chainsaw and more. Be sure to try the great food while appreciating a vast array of musical entertainment. The Marble Festival has something for everyone!
