10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Enjoy the feel of an old-fashioned country fair set in the beautiful Nacoochee Valley, surrounded by the colors of the season. Hands-on pioneer skills exhibits, traditional craft vendors, local authors and historians, and apple cider from a hand-cranked press are just a few of the experiences you can expect. Learn to make butter, see black powder and blacksmithing demonstrations and try your hand at gem mining. Try your luck in the potato sack race or old fashioned games. Enjoy lunch and treats as you listen to mountain music with your neighbors. The Nichols-Hunnicutt-Hardman Mansion will be open for self-guided tours of the first floor. Grounds admission fee: $6 per person. Children under 6 are free.
Parking will be in the grass lot across from the Hardman Farm Visitors Center on Hwy 75.
