No Kid Hungry, a national campaign to end childhood hunger in America, will unveil a large-scale mural painted by local artist George F. Baker III in Old Fourth Ward (486 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA). The colorful mural is inspired by the perspective of local Atlanta children on how they hungered for connection during the pandemic, their vision for a better future, and the recovery ahead. Visitors are invited to come see it in person while it is on display until 10/8/21. (Unveiling takes place on 8/26/21.) To learn more, visit NoKidHungry.org/Rebuild.
