Bring the family and come join us for Old Clinton War Days, held the weekend of May 2 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and May 3 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). During this event, Clinton’s National Historic District comes alive with the sights and sounds of Civil War Georgia. Visit the authentic camps, craft demonstrations and booths of our Civil War re-enactors, and don't miss their battle re-creation at 2 p.m. each day. Take a stroll on streets laid out at the founding of Clinton in 1808 where you'll see antebellum houses, the old courthouse square site and the 1821 Methodist Church and burial grounds. Visit the c.1809 McCarthy-Pope House, early-1900s Miss Annie’s Store and 1889 Pine Ridge School Museum. Food and crafts are available. Admission: $5 adults, $3 ages 6-18, free ages 5 and under. Free parking.
