Become a Trainer for a Day at the World of Wild Theater presented by Georgia Natural Gas, and see firsthand how training is used to care for and connect guests to the birds while participating in the Fantastic Flights presentation!
Work alongside the Ambassador Animals Team to experience how these feathered friends showcase their unique adaptations in these presentations and learn about the positive reinforcement training that ensures that all of the birds are participating voluntarily. Participants can expect to meet members of the Animal Care Team, meet an animal, learn about our positive reinforcement training and enrichment programs, and walk away with knowledge of how to save species. All participation in Keeper for a Day programs is voluntary for the animals.

We’re hosting five days of science adventure at Tellus Science Museum!
This isn’t your average classroom; it’s a hands-on STEM escape designed to turn curious kids into real scientists during our one-week Explorer Camps. With a different theme to explore each week, every session offers a brand-new discovery.
Roll up your sleeves and sharpen your observation skills as you practice crime scene investigation one week, or master the art of collaboration by creating your own museum exhibit the next. From cracking the code to using creativity to engineer solutions to wild challenges, our junior scientists will tackle different adventures all summer long.
Come help us prove that the most powerful force in the universe is a curious mind!Explorers will learn what it takes to create a museum exhibit that "wows" guests. Explorers will become the architects of their own exhibition by making a diorama of a museum gallery to take home.
- Georgia's CoastArt Exhibit, History
Seven Ladies is a new exhibition focused on Katharine Judkins Clark, Elinor Adler Dillard, Anna Colquitt Hunter, Lucy Barrow McIntire, Dorothy Ripley Roebling, Nola McEvoy Roos and Jane Adair Wright. Together, these seven women joined forces to purchase and protect the Isaiah Davenport House, an 1820 Federal-style home on Columbia Square, from being razed and founded Historic Savannah Foundation, a permanent organization dedicated to saving and preserving historic buildings throughout the city.
Through historic photographs, archival materials and interpretative storytelling, this inspiring exhibition explores each of these influential women, including their personal histories, lived experiences and the convictions that compelled them to serve their community at a pivotal moment in Savannah’s history.
Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., this exclusive exhibition will remain on display at the Murray C. Perlaman and Wayne C. Spear Preservation Center inside the Historic Kennedy Pharmacy throughout 2026. - Northwest GeorgiaArt Exhibit
