The Davenport House, an iconic c. 1820 property owned and operated by Historic Savannah Foundation, will host a free Family Day event on Sunday, Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the award-winning house museum.
This event will focus on early Savannah’s Historic Trades, offering creative activities and hands-on learning opportunities for adults and children of all ages.
The Family Day at the Davenport House will feature hands-on craft stations, including embroidery, leatherwork and historic printmaking, as well as live woodturning demonstrations. As attendees explore the museum grounds, they’ll encounter artisans, music and engaging activities that bring the working world of the past to life.
