Historic Savannah Foundation and the Davenport House Museum proudly present the Artisan Spotlight Series at Historic Kennedy Pharmacy. The Artisan Spotlight Series offers engaging, immersive workshops and provides a dynamic platform for artists and artisans to share their creative processes with local residents and visitors.
On Saturday, June 27, from 1:30-3:30 p.m., local artist Lucy Brotmann will host a beginner-friendly needle felting session. She will guide participants (ages 8+) through shaping and sculpting colorful wool fibers into delightful summer flowers. Explore essential felting techniques, experiment with vibrant materials and create a set of soft, sculptural blooms perfect for gifting or wearing. All materials are provided, and participants will leave with finished felted flowers and the skills to continue needle felting on their own.
Space is limited, and advance registration is required. To register, please visit davenporthousemuseum.org/public-programs.
