River Rat Mid-Summer Tour of Art, Culture and Cuisine

Come experience a celebration of the wonderful flavors of a small Southern town. The event starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Tour different artist studios and other locations to take a peek inside some unique and creative spaces. View wonderful fine arts and crafts, meet local authors, see historic architecture and taste wholesome, farm-fresh food at our local restaurants. Visitors will have the opportunity to buy original artwork from local artists and tour our historic 1907 Opera House and other historic properties, as well as get a chance to win a handcrafted creation from a participating artist. Get away from the traffic and stress, slow down to explore and enjoy our wealth of creative talent. There’s more than meets the eye in Hawkinsville, so come home to all that awaits.
