Strand Academy: Performula 2024

AGES: Rising 3rd through rising 6th grade

Over this week, students will learn how to…

• Perform in an original stage production
• Properly use stage etiquette
• Learn and refine performance techniques

This camp will culminate in the students participating in the production process of putting on a Theatrical Performance. This will include learning about stage directions, theatrical techniques, and working as a group to perform.

Mornings will be spent working on dance numbers followed by learning any scenes that will be included in the show. In the afternoon, students will work on vocals and show specific techniques that will be in the show. By the end of the week, students will perform a 20-minute original production.

All students will perform for family and friends at 3 p.m. on Friday June 21.
