Event Description

The Vaseline Glass Collection of Betsy Briley is an impressive display of vaseline or “uranium” glass pieces. This yellow-green tinted glass is slightly radioactive. Not to worry though, the radioactivity of the glass is so minute that is does not pose a threat when displayed. Use the provided black light flashlight to see how the glass glows! The collection can be viewed during the month of March in the front lobby display case of the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center, Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
