Why do we have so much broken pottery in the museum? Let’s take a closer look at some of the pottery shards, and figure out why they’re so important. Afterward, we’ll learn how to make our own pottery using items we have in the kitchen!
What’s Up Wednesday? (WUW) is a monthly program designed for preschoolers and children between ages 3-7. Children and their caregivers have a short lesson in the galleries and then make a craft. WUW educational programming will start at 11 a.m. Each program lasts approximately 1 hour. Admission to the Cherokee County History Center is not included. Tickets are non-refundable for this event.
Free for History Cherokee members (family membership level and up), $5 per child for non-members.
