Visit Douglas-Coffee County GA is so excited to announce the 4th Annual Wings & Things Festival and Fly-in at the Douglas Municipal Airport (KDHQ) on March 21! Last year was a huge success and we can't wait to do it again--bigger and better!
We'll be there Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with warbirds, antique military vehicles, World War II reenactors, Huey helicopter and biplane rides, food trucks, vendors, kids' area, entertainment, a vintage car show, hot wing cook-off and so much more. Grab the family and fly in or drive to the airport for a day of fun and history!

- Historic HeartlandArt Exhibit
This exhibit will be composed of large color works by artist Gary Hudson and will be displayed at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center in Gallery 3 until March 27.
Hudson was an internationally acclaimed artist who died in Madison in 2009. Known as a "lyrical abstractionist," he led a life as interesting and compelling as his works. Hudson was part of the California Beat Movement, associated with Andy Warhol and met Joan Baez and Bob Dylan during his Boston Years.
The Cultural Center is open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

- Georgia's CoastArt Exhibit
DECADES is a new art exhibition designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Location Gallery and a decade of creativity from 36 local artists who have been featured by the gallery over the years. Spanning a wide range of mediums, these captivating pieces of art are united by a shared 10" x 10" format. This cohesive and dynamic exhibition highlights both individual voices and Savannah’s vibrant creative community.
This special anniversary exhibition will remain on view from March 15-23 at the Preservation Center at Historic Kennedy Pharmacy. Gallery proceeds from the run of the exhibition will be donated to Historic Savannah Foundation and support the nonprofit organization's mission to preserve Savannah’s historic places and stories. The exhibition is free and open to the public for viewing.

- Georgia's CoastArt Exhibit
Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum—an acclaimed museum dedicated to celebrating and preserving America’s maritime legacy—is delighted to present “Beyond the Plate: Sea and Sky,” an exciting new solo exhibition featuring nautical-inspired, mixed-media art by Rob Strati, from September 25, 2025, through April 12, 2026.
“Beyond the Plate” will showcase new work by one of America’s hottest contemporary artists. Strati has recently enjoyed sold-out exhibits at Duane Reed Gallery in St. Louis and FREMIN Gallery in New York and has sold work to top international art collectors in New York, London, Hong Kong, Dubai and beyond.
Strati’s art incorporates broken porcelain plates that have been embellished and adorned with creative details. The exhibition features the artist’s latest bold, kinetic mixed-media works and limited-edition prints as well as an ambitious site-specific installation that will be suspended from the ceiling of the Ships of the Sea atrium.
All of the art in “Beyond the Plate” will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum.

It may be common to measure using standard tools such as measuring tapes and cups, but Measurement Rules explores non-standard tools such as balancing scales, odometers, calipers, 3-D imaging and counting “Mississippis.” Explore this exhibit and become confident in the language of measurement through length, weight, volume and time.
The museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

We’ve all imagined what it’s like to live and work in space, but only a select few have done it. Opening on Oct. 10, those who have lived in space will share their experiences with visitors in our newest traveling exhibition, Journey to Space.
Using hands-on and large-scale interactive exhibits and multimedia components, Journey to Space gives visitors a glimpse at the extraordinary conditions of human space travel, as well as the unique challenges and rewards of life on board the International Space Station.

Historic Savannah Foundation and the Davenport House Museum proudly present the Artisan Spotlight Series at Historic Kennedy Pharmacy, located at 323 East Broughton Street in Savannah. The Artisan Spotlight Series offers immersive, creative workshops and provides a dynamic platform for artists and artisans to share their creative processes with local residents and visitors.
On March 22 from 1-3 p.m., join the founder of People's Probiotics Erin Schafranek for a hands-on workshop and explore the craft and history of vegetable fermentation, a natural process in which microorganisms break down sugars to create new foods.
